Medieval sword4/2/2023 ![]() These these swords are dangerous but to claim one is better then the other is a pointless endeavor. Its true about Hollywood but they do that to nearly everything including your preferred European swords so that's kinda moot. This age old debate can go anywhere as there are many angles to this and mostly are opinions while other facts only work in a 'perfect scenario'. Our ongoing commitment to painstakingly recreate each sword has made us popular among museum curators, collectors and re-enactment communities around the world. Plz devs make the swords on par for the sake of credibility and realism, Katanas are really not those wonderswords hollywood made people believe. Darksword Armory’s Medieval Swords are individually hand forged in North America to look, feel and perform as the originals. I have a replica of a 9th century viking sword and this thing is freaking scary and sharp as hell, you can flex it as much as you want it will always go back and it cuts like crazy, which is why I know how good those swords are. With the Katana you can kill mostly all puppets with one hit, a Medieval sword needs a averange of 3 hits (if armored Puppet then you will most certainly more.) If this is true then it´s pretty stupid, since katanas in real life are in no way better than medievil european swords, rather worse due to the fact that the blade is not fully hardened which means it bends in combat.įurthermore the handguard leaves a lot to be desired and if anyone thinks a medievil european sword can´t be as sharp as a katana then he should stop watching movies and get his hands on some real swords. The Best ist the Katana but the Medieval Sword is also capable of some Action. Originally posted by Deathwhisper:It is a reliable weapon in my opinion.
